Year 11 Religious Education
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms P. D' Souza.
This course is a continuation of the Understanding Faith syllabus and builds on the topics covered at Year 9 and Year 10. Students will be working towards gaining 18 Level 1 Credits towards their National Certificate of Educational Achievement. Students are provided with opportunities to plan and lead class in prayer and liturgy.

Term 1
AS 90817 V3 - The Reformation – Describe a significant development within a Religious tradition.
Term 2
AS 90816 V3 - Understanding the Gospel Story – Describe the purpose of a sacred text within a religious tradition.
Term 3
AS 90818 V3 - Conscience, Morality – Describe the application of key ethical principle(s) of a religious tradition and to an issue.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
