Subject Description

Design and visual communication is where students learn to use a range of design conventions and drawing techniques to communicate their design solutions. They will initiate a spatial design project based on the actual needs and requirements of a client in the architectural or environmental, engineering, or technical illustration design area. At Level 3, DVC students are asked to take charge of a large portion of their own learning with an expectation they complete 1 page of their project per week.
