Dance
Dance is a highly practical subject. If you love to dance and being creative this is your subject!

Dance will help you to develop your creativity, confidence and collaborative skills. Throughout the year you will explore different ways of choreographing dance, as well as learn and perform dances from a range of styles and cultures. Students will experience a broad range of dance styles. Styles include: Jazz, Disco, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Students will look at how dance is used for different purposes. Choreography is an important part of the course and students will explore movement using different devices to compose dance. 

Participation in dance performances as a positive collaboration, before a live public audience, is a requirement of the programme. 

Students will develop skills in creative processes, evaluating and communicating ideas and working collaborating with others.
